Michigan Saves created the Lead Poisoning Prevention Fund (Lead Fund) to fill a critical gap for homeowners and rental property owners who don’t qualify for free home lead services from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). We’re working to ensure everyone—no exceptions—can keep their homes safe through free lead inspections and risk assessments and a 50/50 cost-share incentive for lead abatement projects. For more details, visit the Lead Fund program page.
This page provides information on how to become a Michigan Saves authorized lead abatement contractor with the Lead Fund program. Becoming an authorized contractor is free and simple, and it grants you exclusive access to Lead Fund customers, incentives, and financing. Help homeowners in your area and expand your business by signing up today!
