Michigan Clean Energy Report

Eastern Market in Detroit, MI

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to release the Michigan Clean Energy Report. Our intent in producing this report, supported by the Mott Foundation, is to create a reference for communities by providing a profile of the state’s current energy landscape and to describe the experiences of a handful of Michigan cities in supporting and deploying clean energy in their communities.

The Michigan Clean Energy Report comprises two major works: a statewide overview of energy use and clean energy technology deployment throughout the state, and a profile of clean energy efforts in seven Michigan communities. The categories identified for inclusion in this report are energy optimization, distributed generation, smart grid advances, and electric vehicles.

We hope that you find this information useful as you continue clean energy work in your local community for the benefit of our state. We look forward to working together to support our collective efforts.

Please feel free to share this report with your networks.

Warm regards,
Mary Templeton
Executive Director, Michigan Saves
